02 Shape the Idea

Preliminary Design

Turn your priorities into a clear concept for your custom van.

After your consultation, we'll begin translating your ideas into an initial design direction. We'll explore the layout, major systems, materials, and features that matter most to you, then develop a preliminary 3D design so you can start to see your van take shape. This phase gives us what we need to define the scope of your project and develop an initial build estimate.

03 Make It Official

Reserve

Approve your preliminary design, place your deposit, and secure your production spot.

Once the preliminary design, scope, and estimate are where you want them, it's time to make your build official. Your deposit secures a place on our production schedule at the Boundless shop in Eugene, Oregon and moves your project into the next stage.

04 Find Your Van

Don't have your van yet? We'll help you find the right platform for your build.

If you don't already have a van, we'll help you identify the right chassis and configuration for your approved design. We can help coordinate the vehicle acquisition process through our local dealer network and make sure the van you purchase is compatible with the build we've planned together.

05 Dial In the Details

Detailed Design

Refine the concept into a complete design that's ready to build.

With your build reserved and your van confirmed, we'll move from concept to the details that bring everything together. We'll refine the layout, finalize materials and finishes, and dial in your electrical, water, climate, storage, and cabinetry systems. Every element is designed to work together before fabrication begins.

Craft

Your design becomes a van through precision fabrication and hands-on craftsmanship.

This is where the plans become real. Our team fabricates and assembles your build using CNC-fabricated components, quality materials, and the systems we've designed specifically for your van. From cabinetry to electrical, water, climate, and storage, the build comes together as one integrated system.
